OK, so we are still trying to figure out reds for the wall (again). My first reds were a bit too dark. After looking at them for a few days, I started to agree. I decided to try the actual UGA red, that you can buy at Home Depot. So we went and got a tester of that red. Here is how it looks:

UGA red

And I picked up this red as well. It’s called Cherries Jubilee. It seemed a bit brighter to me, so I thought we’d try it as well.

Red again

I like both. I think brighter is the way to go for this room – it’s a basement with no windows. J has thrown up his hands and wants me to pick a red already. I really am starting to see red!

I like Cherries a bit better than the UGA red…

Ok. I think I like the top paint chip taped to the wall. The one on the left. But I just can’t tell if it’s too dark. It kinda appears that way, but if you use a gray primer (we did in the kitchen with our burgundy) it will give you a much truer color and you’ll use less red paint!
