Help a girl out, would you? I have promised J a UGA room for as long as I can remember. We’ve always associated finishing the basement with a little tribute to J’s school, UGA. The way I want to do this, without going over the top, is to paint one wall red and the rest a tan. And hang a bunch of UGA related pics on that wall (black frames, white mats) Who knew red was SO freaking hard to pick out??

Here are my 4 choices:

Trying to pick a Red - VOTE for your favorite!

I love love love the tan color we found, so that is a definite. Now the search is on for the right red. Which one do you like?

My favorites are:

Top Red close up
The top red.

Bottom red close up
Or the bottom red.

But what say you? Which one do you like? Pick one, or I might be driven to this:
A rough day, I guess

But you know, less milk. Red is driving me crazy! Want to see close ups of each one of the reds? Click here to see them. Vote here or there!

Hi there – Blog stalking you. Thanks for your sweet comment yesterday. SO good to see you too! You always make me smile.

Re: paint, my vote is top red. No doubt. Think it is the most cheery.

I’ll vote for the top red. While I really like the darker reds with your tan, I worry they would look too dark in a basement. I find that in enclosed rooms with little or no natural light, I wish I would’ve gone a shade lighter.

I’ll third the top red. Brighter and cherrier (is that even a word?) are great for darker spaces. And I don’t remember a window in that room. LOVE that you are doing the other 3 tan. I’m thinking we need to plan an Athens day if it isn’t too hot also. We’ll have lots of time @ the lake, so plenty of swimming to tire some kiddos and adults out too.
