We wanted to do something a bit different this weekend, to get outside, and enjoy the weather, before it turned hot and humid, so we decided to go hiking Patapsco State Park. It’s close by, but we thought it’d give us a taste of what hiking with the kids would be like. We ended up bringing the pups too!

It was really beautiful and a lot of fun. The kids seemed to enjoy it and were really resilient.

R got tired at the end and I ended up carrying him. I am such a sucker for that boy – as Daddy was able to get him to walk (always), but he sees momma and asks for up and I can not say no to him. But it was not too bad and he walked for about 90% of the hike, so I am not complaining.

Can’t wait to go out again. Anyone got any got local recommendations on where to hike?
