With all the upheaval we’ve been through recently, we decided to give C a small birthday party to celebrate him turning 6, so we decided to have a Rocket Launch party for him and a few friends. We wanted to keep it small and simple. In case you ever want to throw a rocket launch party, here are some of the things we did:
I got these Chinese take out containers from Michael’s and I added a rocket to the side. We did blue for boys and pink for girls. We added a cute little “Thank you” to the boxes using fun font…
Inside we put star confetti, made by my niece, Starbursts, and Milky Way bars.
Also inside was a craft – Make an Astronaut Magnet – that I created and also patches from various shuttle missions that J scored from his job.
We also made badges for the kids to wear at the party, as they became Jr. NASA employees testing in the Rocket Launch Division. J also got the lanyards from work and we created “fake” employee badges…
More on the food and activities in a post to follow, but I am pretty sure the kids had a blast!
Wow! Looks like a fabulous party. Hope C had fun! Happy 6th bday to your little big guy!
