Lazy Sunday

For today, October 21, 2009

Outside my window… it’s dark and turning chillier.

I am thinking…about what I am going to do after I post this. Probably going to read.

I am thankful for…lazy Sundays spent with the family, seeing the boys play together, that we are very close to another weekend

I am wearing…a t-shirt and jogging pants from a recent workout. As much as it pains me to admit it, I know I am a better person, wife, mom, friend, daughter when I workout regularly.

I am creating…nothing recently. I still have work I want to do on the Halloween book I made a few weeks ago. I am wanting to make some Halloween cards. I am thinking ahead to getting started on scrapping pictures so far from the school year, and wondering what and how I want to capture the holidays this year. I am kicking myself for not doing a Halloween Countdown with my friend while she was here, so I could have her help on it. Seriously click on that link. So fun and cute!

I am reading… Understanding Exposure and Family Affair: A Novel. What you don’t read many at once?

I am hoping… for a really nice weekend. I’d like to get to the pumpkin patch. And I want to do something fun on Saturday!

I am hearing… quiet. The dog is at my feet. J is reading, the boys are sleeping. It’s just me, my thoughts, and the sound of my fingers hitting the keyboard.

Around the house… is messy. I need to sweep and mop. I need to reorganize toys and books. But with my limited time with the boys in the evenings, I have been trying to focus on being with them not just around them.

One of my favorite things…is taking pictures. I have not taken any recently because I have not been feeling confident with my skills in that area. Hopefully reading the book mentioned above, and just getting the camera out again will bring my mojo back.

A few plans for the rest of the week…nothing huge. I am looking forward to the weekend for the break and hanging out with the kids and hubby.

Blatantly copied from Ali Edwards blog as I wanted a way to help remember my “Todays.” Thanks so much!
