We’ve been hanging around the house a lot lately – it’s been cold and we are trying to save money, but we have been having fun doing it. I love to kind of mini hibernate this time of year, and thinking back I think I kind of do this every year, curl in read a bit more, stay home a bit more, etc. It has been fun playing with the kids and hanging with JD. Some gems of late…

– C loves the movie Mama Mia…He knows all most none some of the lyrics to the songs.
– C asked last night if he could watch “my girls with the big dresses”…in case you are wondering his girls are these women. Yes, he likes to watch their specials on PBS.
– C has been teaching R how to play band, with instruments and marching. And cars, with the, “beep beep” and engine sounds.

– R is still sweet, most of the time. He is talking a lot and trying new words, which is fun for us to a) decipher and b) guess what he means.
– R loves to be held still and yes, I perpetuate it by holding him. But in my defense, he is my baby and that is all I’ll say about that.

I saw this today, and I loved it. I sometimes get bored of the same routines and I like to find things that inspire me. This is one of those things…
