What a great night to be out with friends. I like the occasional break from the kids and with DC so close, an advantage we don’t do often enough. The evening started out lovely, but ended with a rain shower while we ate desert. We just sat and watched the rain and lightning and talked – lingering with friends. Not a bad way to spend an evening!
I”m so glad you guys got to have some fun out with friends. Wish we could be part of the crew. I bet we’d have fun with y’all. Maybe next time we come up we can ditch the kids for an evening and party with your people?
Two comments – a lovely evening is NOT ruined by rain. I loved sitting under the canopy while it rained. Rain is great!
