I have been thinking a lot about this blog lately and what I am doing here. I sometimes wonder why I keep writing here. I am not a writer. I hated it in school and never excelled at it. Sure, I can put my thoughts down, and make concise and coherent sentences, but I don;t think I will ever be able to adequately describe certain feelings, the way they actually are. I don’t think people will ever be moved by my words.

So again, I ask myself, so why am I here? I never set out to be a blogger, nor do I have hopes that a ton of people will read my thoughts here. I know that in the beginning, I set out to keep a record of the goings on in our lives and as a place I can refer back to on when we did stuff. As time has gone on, I have opened up more and connected with more people and for that I am grateful.

So for now, my blog will continue, not with any earth changing stories or news, possibly with more grievances (yes lady at the kids play area I am looking at you), more reminders of when my kids did what, and definitely with pictures. It’s not the most novel of stories, the plot is mundane and normal, a lot like my life. But isn’t that to be celebrated, too?

I have to say I like coming to your blog and reading about what is going on with your family and with you. Being that we were pretty close growing up, although I know we did not always get along I think we had a better relationship then alot of our friends did with their siblings. I miss not knowing what you are doing day to day and this is a way for me to see what you are up to and feeling. As well as what your boys are up to and I can keep up with just a few minutes everyday. When I get to work each morning I take the time to see if there is any new news from you and your family and more often then not share it with the girls that work for me when there are new pictures of the boys posted! So please continue because you make my day……I love you! Have a great day!

I agree with Heather. It’s so nice that we can check in and see what’s happening with you guys. I don’t always get a chance to comment but I am looking in. It’s great that we can still see the boys, hear about anything crazy or not that’s happening and feel like we were there. Lala really enjoys the photo posts, so you can keep those coming too!
