Well, here we are at week 39. One week from the official due date. We’re doing OK. I am having some trouble with hip pain, sciatic nerve pain (pain up and down my right leg), and some bloating of my feet and legs, but good blood pressure, so all is going OK. Not too much to report from the doctor today, if we don’t have the baby by next week, they will probably be willing to induce me sometime next week, mainly because of the bloating to my legs and feet.
There are some more pictures of C and me on flickr that JD took. I am trying to be more OK with my tummy and stretch marks – thinking of the little (OK, big, jeesh) guy I am nurturing inside and not just looking at the picture and seeing a huge stomach. I hope you feel the same way!
More updates as we have them. Keep your fingers crossed that this guy makes an appearance soon!
I love that picture! One of my favorite pictures of me during my third pregnancy is very similar. My middle child (at age 3 1/2) was sleeping on my belly just a week before delivery. My third child was the biggest of all 3 children (and my belly showed it)! I was going to be induced, but he decided to come at 2 am on the morning of the scheduled event!
You will love these pictures in years to come! I hope all goes well… its an amazing thing!
