Prior to our heat pump issues, Laurie had confessed to me what she was thinking about getting me satellite radio for my birthday. My best friend Blake has had it for around a year or so and Laurie talked with his wife Alisha a little bit about it, but she wanted to see if I was really interested before spending the money. Long story short, I now have Sirius satellite radio and love it. I promised to keep the tech talk to a minimum here, so I’ve written up all the details on my portfolio site. Blake: I ended up getting the Sportster . It’s similar to your unit I believe, but not exactly the same. The must have changed/updated their stuff a bit because I don’t recall seeing your unit when I was looking through what they had to offer. It’s definitely nice being able to alwasy find something good to listen to.

It’s nice that you can tune into Disney for C too. I do that for Lauren every now and then so i can learn some new songs instead of singing “the wheels on the bus” for the 8 millionth time! Laurie, I’m all 80′s all the time when blake and i are in the car too. So funny. i even had him program that channel in for me! Congrats JD. Hope you have fun with it!
Yup – we’re programmed at #1 for the 80′s station I think!! Must mean he still loves me or that he (JD) thinks that I can’t remember much beyond that!! ;)
