Today you are 2 and one month, and while your Daddy wrote eloquently on your birthday, I wanted to take a moment to document you. How you are today. What you like and what you don’t – so I don’t forget and so later, you can know.

– You say “whoa” now when I go around a curve in the car and you have to lean to the right or left.

– When I suggest that you do something, you like to say, “OK,” but often you hold the “k” so it is more like, “Okayyyy,” like a little adult thinking about my suggestion.

– When I let you watch your favorite cartoons, you have a special spot on the right end of the couch that you always go to sit on. You have even moved blankets or toys out of your spot.

– Can I say…

This is your current favorite CD, especially the song, Dog Train.

– Every day as we drive over to Fay’s house, you and I look for school buses and then we talk about how when you are older that you will ride one. You like this idea.

– You like to drink milk almost as much as I do, you have even fussed at me when I give you juice instead.

– Favorite t.v. show is Higglytown Heroes

– You have to go to bed with Baby Bunny – from the book Good Night Moon.

- Your favorite book is I am Not Sleepy and I will Not Go to Bed (Charlie and Lola).

– Your favorite toy is the Fisher Price Pirate Ship.

– You love to read and say, “E-end” and close the book at the end of the story – sometimes before!

– When you play outside, if the sun goes behind a cloud, you say, “light out?” for this! It’s adorable.

In short you are growing and learning more and more and I am lucky to be able to be a part of it and watch you grow every day!
