Rainy San Diego?!? Yes, it seems every time I travel to San Diego it rains. Not that I travel here all that often, but that is beside the point. They (whomever THEY are) tell me it only rains about 10 days of the year here, but this is now the second time I have come to San Diego for the American Astronomical Society meeting and it has rained both times. Coincidence? Just lucky? Cursed? Maybe this meeting is bad karma for San Diego. It could be … I mean the Chargers did lose their playoff game the night before the meeting started. You decide.
