I mentioned a while back that Swift was going to launch on October 7th. Well, obviously that date is past us now. Unfortunately, the launch was delayed (a couple times) due to the three hurricanes that hit Florida. It survived all three without any damage to the spacecraft, but the hurricanes did delay launch preparations. A revised launch date of November 8th has now been established. Hopefully, Florida has seen its last hurricane for a while and we can get this bird off the ground and doing some good science.
